The New York State STEM Education Collaborative is working to define and promote the science, technology, engineering and mathematic (STEM) disciplines in New York State and serve as a national model. The STEM Collaborative is Chaired by Chuck Goodwin, who has spent his career in education and has launched other nationally recognized initiatives including “Project Lead the Way.”
The collabortive is composed of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE), Association of Math Teachers in New York State (AMTNYS), American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE), New York State Technology Education Association (NYSTEA), and Science Teachers Association of New York State (STANYS). A special thanks to Frank Roma, PE, Vice President of PEs in Industry for representing NYSSPE in this very important initiative.
