BABYLON, NY – Three key, long-term employees, James Bazata, P.E., ENV SP, William McMenamin, P.E., and William Stroh, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, ENV SP, have been named assistant vice presidents of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI), a national engineering and construction services firm and an NYSSPE Sustaining Member firm.
James Bazata, P.E., ENV SP, GPI’s Deputy Director of Civil Engineering, has 26 years of in-depth experience on many civil and traffic engineering projects on Long Island and the New York metropolitan area. He is experienced in all aspects of civil and roadway design, which includes alignments, pavement design, work zone traffic control, transportation management plans for work zone safety and mobility, grading and roadway modeling. He has been recognized by GPI clients for his exceptional project management and communication skills, and knowledge of technology that has helped save owner’s millions of dollars. Key projects he has been involved with include Nichols Road Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), the award-winning CR3 Pinelawn Road/Ruland Road/Colonial Spring Road Intersection Reconstruction, the award-winning Lower Manhattan Transit Signal Priority, and Brooklyn Bridge CCTV, among others. Mr. Bazata is a professional engineer in New York State, and an ISI- Certified Envision Sustainability Professional. He earned his degree in civil engineering from Polytechnic University.
