Jennifer A. Miller – Director of Programs
Jen joined NYSSPE in July of 1995. She graduated with an AAS in Business Administration from Hudson Valley Community College. She is currently the Director of Programs handling all events and meetings and other duties for the association. As a special project outside of Society functions, she is also the coordinator for the Capital Districts Engineers Week, a yearly event for and about engineers. Jen has built the NYSSPE events division to over 30 events per year servicing licensed NYS engineers throughout the State.
Rachel Pieniazek – Operations Manager
Rachel joined NYSSPE in February 2016 as the Operations Manager. Rachel has experience in planning and coordinating events, but also has worked extensively in marketing and media where she has designed and developed show related materials, websites, marquees and all social media pages. As NYSSPE’s Operations Manager, Rachel focuses on day-to-day operations, marketing, and membership.
Kathryn Viggiani – PIE Administrator
Kathryn handles the responsibilities for The Practicing Institute of Engineering, Inc. (PIE). PIE is authorized by New York State to accredit coursework for continuing education, and supports those organizations that offer continuing education opportunities. Viggiani is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with more than ten years of experience in all aspects of event management. Her background includes extensive experience in the association industry, where she has successfully planned and executed programs ranging from small working groups to large-scale conferences and trade shows with thousands of attendees.
