Administration Committee
Concerned with the management of the Society to include such areas as budget development and control, investment of funds, financial development and related administrative matters.
Climate Action Committee
The intention of the Climate Action Committee is to provide rational science-based information on this highly important topic. Formation of this committee is the direct result of an initiative by our parent organization, the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), acknowledging the fundamental responsibility of engineers to use our knowledge and skills in public service.
Legislative & Government Affairs Committee
Concerned with all legislative and governmental matters affecting the profession.
Nominating Committee
Concerned with nominations for elected positions as prescribed in Article VIII of the Constitution; selection of recipients for established State Society awards; and nominations for awards of the National Society or other organizations.
Membership Committee
Concerned with the quantity and quality of Society membership to include such areas as membership promotion, retention and qualifications.
Metropolitan Chapters Presidents Council
The council represents the five county NYSSPE Chapters of New York City in all professional matters of mutual interest.
Professional Compliance Committee
Concerned with the ethical and lawful practice of engineering
