The meeting includes light dinner buffet and is to be held at the Bayside Historical Society, 208 Totten Avenue, Fort Totten, Bayside, Queens, NY (see flyer below). $20 member admission / $30 Non-members. RCNY §103-09 and Local Law 37/08 requires owners of properties with a retaining wall or part of a retaining wall which is at least ten feet high and faces a public right of way such as a sidewalk or entrance must have a condition assessment of this wall conducted every five years and the assessment report submitted to the Department of Buildings by a licensed engineer who has a minimum of three years relevant experience. Reports are submitted electronically in a digital format.
DOB Deputy Director, Bill Halkiadakis PE is a Licensed professional engineer, professional planner and certified municipal engineer with extensive experience in project and construction management of multi-million dollar projects. Mr. Halkiadakis has forty years of diverse experience in the engineering and construction management of complex projects for government, major utilities and telecommunications clients and private industry.
